About Pastor Cummings
Pastor Cummings answered the call of God in April 1982 and began ministering in Prisons and Juvenile Institutions throughout California and Nevada. For two years he traveled throughout the United States ministering the word of God and abroad including Jamaica, London, England and South Africa. Pastor Cummings was ordained as Minister of the Gospel on October 22, 2006 and began ministering as an Assistant Pastor on Crenshaw Christian Center Pastoral staff. In 2011 Pastor Cummings also was an instructor in the Apostle Frederick Price Ministry Training Center. After, he completed 29 years of membership and 18 years of faithful employment at the ministry of Crenshaw Christian Center.
It was on July 2, 2011, that Pastor Cummings and his wife officially moved to Palm Desert and formally established Palm Desert Christian Center and Total Youth Development Training Center.

Pastor Robert L. Cummings Sr. wants the best for all of us. His passion for life is helping families break the cycle of fatherless homes one youth at a time. An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Cummings is known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. Pastor Cummings anointing has allowed him to minister to those in need of healing of the spirit, soul and body.
With such a great calling to fulfill, he finds time to make calls to our community, teach the word, and spend time studying God’s word. His ultimate desire is to see people fully embrace God’s love and live in victory and power while experiencing the fullness of God’s promises.
